(Making Love, In Spirit) by Daniel Michel Antil ... Feign, my burdened breath holds soft the whisper of her name.
Would that I, in reverent tasks, live in ecstasy upon her deliverance,
Here I sit, each day, in awe, gazing at her marbled form seraphic.
This night, I come to be with her, at the closing of the doors.
Choosing then my only recourse, I seal our fate with this blade.

Daniel Michel Antil is a visual artist, a poet and a writer currently residing in Oregon with his beautiful wife, Cookie Holley. Together, they run an independent record label and several radio shows, for which Daniel, under the guise of "Midnight Rider", serves as a DJ. His greatest literary interest has always been in the genre of horror and fantasy. His writing influences include Poe, Kafka, and Lovecraft, to name a few.
