Dawn Song
 by Astrid L.

...

In that silver moment 'fore I wake,
you come to me.
Your velvet kisses trail my cheekbone,
slipping down my neck
to hover
in that dip at the base of my throat.
You have brought the cool sharp smell of dawn
as your fingers trace my lips
into a gentle smile,
then fleet
over the wing of my collarbone.
My pulse flutters and my breathing
quivers like a bird
half-poised for flight.

But your hands
capture and cup my breasts.
Your lips cruise
to circle the darkened skin around my nipples
taut to the flickering of your tongue.
Breasts, unable to escape your gentle nibbles,
clamour for your suckling.

Flight is now far from my mind
as moans escape me
past the clutches rippling
within my core.
I hear you sigh
as your head slides down
to nuzzle in a musky warmth
dampening into ...
liquid honey - you always say.
Your lips meet mine
- swollen -
as your tongue probes
to explore those secret ridges of delight.
You push,
your thumbs gently parting,
probing me
in the morning dew.

Your fingers fondle
as you rise above me.
My lips longing for you,
my tongue flicks over tiny ridges,
and I relish in your sighs and moans,
tasting the warm dear core of you.
My juices surge to your touch
as sweet shuddering
carries me to peak
- then wane -
in a spent and gentle
closeness.

I awaken,
wet between my thighs,
the pearly liquid on my fingers proof,
that although so far away,
you have come,
have touched my body
with your mind.
